She is an IT professional with more than 12 years of international corporate experience. Over the years, she has been successful and recognised by her peers and managers in her career as an IT Business and Project Manager. She holds a Master ‘s Degree in Computer Science with major in Software Engineering.
Her journey with IT started over 25 years ago, when her family was gifted with a computer. Her parents, both working as machinists in a factory, did not have funds to afford it themselves. She was growing up in Poland and has a personal experience of poverty and financial struggle. She is the first educated person in her family.
Anna visited Cambodia for the first time in 2016 to volunteer her time and skills with Your Aid – an NGO located in Kampot. She was deeply moved by the poverty and the determination of young Cambodians in their pursuit of receiving education. Anna could relate to their ambitions and struggles though her own experience of hard work to break the cycle of poverty in her family line. She made a commitment to come back and be of service. Over the last 2 years, she visited Cambodia 6 times. What started as a holiday trip to teach English has quickly developed into a few impactful educational projects that she’s been running since then.
Anna and her partner delivered IT trainings to computer class teachers in June 2017. The main aim of the training was to develop their IT skills and build their confidence in passing this knowledge on to their students.
In December 2017, they started mobile computer classes in collaboration with Your Aid. The classes are delivered in remote areas where kids would not have used a computer before. Teacher travels to schools on a motorbike with pre-loved laptops donated by kind Australians. Nearly 300 students have been enrolled to this course in 2018. The classes are fully funded by their sponsors. She has also worked on developing an IT curriculum that is currently being used by all Your Aid teachers.
Anna and her partner are planning to start two new mobile computer classes in Kampot and Takeo province in 2019. They will double the current capacity and will be funded by generosity of their sponsors. Anna is also working on developing website and graphic design courses.
In June 2018, Anna started another initiative that is aimed at empowering young people through leadership skills. She ran a workshop with students aged 15 – 18 with focus on creating a safe environment, where they can explore their strengths, goals and dreams and learn how to overcome obstacles and limiting beliefs. Students also practised interview and presentation skills that will be essential in getting a job in the future. She will run an advanced workshop on interview skills, planning, budgeting, time management and prioritisation in December 2018. She is passionate about introducing new ways of collaboration and engaging like team work, role playing, group exercises, pair practices and sharing in a circle.
In 2019 Anna will be working on an introductory course that will provide young people with knowledge and practical skills to start a business in Cambodia.
She is very passionate about education, as she understands the importance of it in transforming one’s personal situation and living a meaningful life that is of service to one’s family and the community at large.

No stranger to the challenges of running a P&L and managing geographically distributed teams, Özlem spent over 15 years in the world of Corporate Accounting and Global Project Management, which included secondments to the UK, India and Dubai. While she began her career focused on the financial business levers, she realized over time that the toughest problems, and the game-changing improvements almost always involved shifting how people and teams worked. Thus her focus changed to the field of human behaviour.
Prior to working as an Organisational Performance Consultant, and subsequent to her international project management career, Özlem worked with a number of specialist consultancies. Her work included promoting positive change in organisations by developing emerging leaders, driving inclusion and equality, coaching individuals and shifting culture. Özlem thrives on leveraging her business acumen combined with an intuitive and carefully honed skillset in human behavioural change – analytics plus soft skills – to make a difference in the world. She believes that we need to bring our whole selves to work in order for individuals, businesses, and ultimately, for societies to thrive.
Özlem holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) and began her career as a CPA. She is an IECL accredited coach and has completed a Certificate IV in Training, Assessment and Facilitation (UTS). Özlem is certified in several diagnostic tools and holistic modalities designed to empower individuals with emotional intelligence.
She is passionate about the fusion of commerce and philanthropy through socially-conscious businesses. Özlem is an Advisor to Transition Hub – a global partnership with WeWork to help prepare people for the Future of Work and also sits on the Advisory Board for Leaders In Heels – creating female leaders.

Carla has held a variety of positions in IT in software development and management at Vodafone Australia, Teradata Australia, and other blue chip companies in Brazil. She is currently employed full-time as Snr Project Manager at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She is a passionate supporter of One Child Vision through the leadership programs and IT training projects. Carla has migrated from Brazil to Australia 11 years ago, a dream that she always had since young. As a teenager, Carla had the opportunity to be part of a youth group where she was mentored to be a young leader. In this training she developed leadership and interpersonal skills, participated in various team activities, events planning, etc. This group was a great source of learning and a key differentiator in the initial phases of her career. Carla believes that through education and practice you can inspire and prepare the young generations.
